An engaging way of running an unusual meal
Enjoyment, learning, food. discoveries
Shared with family and friends.
A quiet evening in mind
And here they are,
empty of excuses
Oh no, its the Vicar, no guff please
But, honest questions honestly answered
Tease out shy questions
surprising us all instead
a moment of insight.
Dry bread full stomachs
Lamb greased fingers
the meaning of life up to our necks
Sitting quietly, listening to others
Minding her own business, enjoying the evening.
When Suddenly, hearing a question she looks up
You can see her brain ticking
It’s all she can do
to keep from blurting out her own question,
So she does. (Selah)
New ideas and insights arise,
You begin to see now, how 1st century eating
can be 21st-century useful
Hhhmmmm, may be more to this Yeshua chap after all.
What if he was who he said he was? That’d be a turn up!
Since when did religion have Tigers teeth, and Vicars who listen?
